RIX STORM S3R Thermal Imaging Scope

The RIX STORM S3R thermal imaging scope combines modern sensor technology, high image quality and a rugged design for demanding hunting and wildlife observation applications. With its powerful 640 × 512 pixel VOx thermal imaging sensor and a pixel pitch of 12 µm, the scope delivers exceptionally detailed, high-contrast thermal images – even in difficult weather conditions, fog or complete darkness.

Thanks to its high thermal sensitivity (NETD ≤ 25 mK), the RIX STORM S3R reliably detects even the smallest temperature differences. This allows game animals to be clearly distinguished from the background, enabling safe identification even at greater distances. The high-quality 50 mm lens provides strong optical performance and enables a detection range of up to approximately 2600 metres.

The integrated OLED display with a resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels ensures a particularly clear picture, rendering thermal images with strong contrast and smoothness. The 50 Hz frame rate guarantees judder-free playback, even with moving targets.

The RIX STORM S3R has a base optical magnification of approximately 3.5× as well as digital magnification of up to 14×, allowing distant targets to be observed and engaged precisely. Several colour palettes such as White Hot, Black Hot or Red Hot allow optimal adaptation to different environments and personal preferences.

For added functionality, the thermal imaging scope offers integrated photo and video recording, allowing observations to be documented. The Wi-Fi function makes it easy to transfer recordings to mobile devices. The rugged housing with IP67 protection rating reliably protects the sensitive technology from dust, rain and demanding weather conditions.
