Feuerschützenverein 1864 Amstetten is a traditional shooting club that specializes in various shooting sports disciplines such as IPSC (International Practical Shooting Confederation), SGKP (Sport Grosskaliberpistole), CAS (Cowboy Action Shooting) and ISSF (International Shooting Sport Federation). The club offers its members and interested shooters regular events, competitions and training opportunities. Annual highlights include bowling, Krampus shooting and New Year’s Eve shooting. The club also attaches great importance to promoting the sport of shooting and offers special courses for the firearms license, including a psychological assessment. Members and guest shooters also have the opportunity to take part in various competitions and club championships to improve and measure their shooting skills.
