Niebling brand patch holders are used to clean the gun barrel. A cleaning pad is attached to the tip of the holder and can then be pushed through the barrel of the gun with a cleaning rod. A patch, i.e. a special cleaning cloth, is attached to the tip of the pad and passed through the barrel to remove deposits and clean the barrel.
