Felt holder – for all felt sizes

Felts can be easily attached to the felt holder. The felt holder, which is attached to a cleaning rod, ensures that the felts remain securely in place, enabling effective and stable cleaning of the inside of the barrel without the felts shifting or coming loose during the process. The felts have a hole in the middle to make it easier to attach them to the felt holder.

The felt holders are divided into two different sections in order to attach the felts correctly. A felt plug is screwed onto the thicker part of the felt holder, which contains a wood screw thread. This felt remains fixed in the barrel during cleaning and does not slip. A second felt is placed on the thinner end of the felt holder, which detaches from the holder during the cleaning process. This prevents the dirt picked up by the second felt from being carried back into the barrel and soiling it again. With this technique, two felts can be used at the same time, which enables fast, thorough and particularly gentle cleaning.
