Cotton pads, combined with a Niebling brand patch holder, are an excellent alternative to barrel cleaning with felts or cleaning wicks. The high-quality cotton material of the pads is particularly resistant and very absorbent. This allows cleaning agents and oils to be optimally absorbed and evenly distributed or removed from the barrel.
These pads are ideal for gently removing deposits or polishing the barrel. Due to their high absorption capacity, cotton pads are more effective than other cloths for cleaning weapons.
A patch holder is also required to use the patches. The pads are skewered onto the tip of the holder and pushed through the barrel of the gun using a Niebling cleaning rod. The pads can be used both without additional cleaning agents and with cleaning agents or oils to clean the barrel gently and thoroughly.
