It organizes the International Defence Shooting, a unique event in the German-speaking world, which was last held for the 16th time in 2023. Despite several postponements due to the coronavirus, the event was successfully held, with 211 participants from various regions taking part. The organization of this event requires a great deal of human and material resources. The responsible organizer, Karl-Heinz R\u00f6sler, has announced that he will not be taking over the organization of the next defence shooting event in 2026 due to his age and hopes that a younger colleague will take over.
